Connect vehicle

MX+ / Web Serial

Pair once. After the serial link opens, Connect initializes the adapter and automatically runs every enabled capture stage: VIN, mileage, stored/pending/permanent generic DTCs, freeze frame, Mode 06, ECU identity, read-only module discovery, CAN survey, and local save.

Previously authorized preferred adapters can reconnect automatically.

These controls are optional. The normal workflow runs automatically after Connect. Full Capture never clears codes or performs bidirectional controls. Enhanced OEM module DTC reads will join the same automatic workflow as each manufacturer pack is validated.

Freeze frame

Automatic

Run a scan. If the vehicle reports a freeze-frame trigger DTC, Connect captures common frozen PIDs automatically.

Misfire monitor

Read-only

Full Capture automatically discovers standardized monitor IDs and queries supported misfire monitors.

Module discovery

Read-only presence probes

Full Capture uses only validated read-only discovery profiles. GM GMLAN discovery is enabled first; unsupported makes remain passive-only until a verified profile is added.

A discovered diagnostic node is not assigned a module name unless evidence supports the identity. Unknown responders are intentionally preserved for later analysis.

Vehicle captures are saved in this browser/device. Connect Lab does not automatically upload customer or vehicle data to FlowWrench servers. Export is an explicit action. Use capture and diagnostic functions only on vehicles you are authorized to service.
